shear stress at the wall

It appears that when I asked the homework problem about shear stress in a capillary, how it is 0 in the center and maximum at the wall, we never discussed the equation.

So, here it is.

shear stress at the wall = -R/2(dP/dz)

Note that it is independent of material behavior.
