Viscosity lab write-up
09 February 09 02:37 PM | jessica.schiffman | 0 Comments

The entire lab should be at least two and no more than three pages long. Make sure that you have section headings in your lab report such as: experimental, results, and conclusion. These headings can be bold faced and placed on the same line as other text to save room. This time integrate your plots and graphs within the text. Do not use a cover sheet.

The focus, ie, most of your grade, for this lab write-up should include: (1) following the steps clearly outlined on pages 118 and 119 of the lab handout that you received. Include a chart, plot of all data, and make sure that whatever units you choose to use are labeled correctly. (2) Explain why the viscosity readings for the two polymers were different. Saying that they are two different polymers with different properties is not enough. Specifically what is different about them that would lead to one taking so much longer to pass through the ubbelohde?

Extra points if you know how much an ubbelohde costs, cite your source for this info.
