As you all know, the final examination is quickly approaching. So far, all students I talked to recently have been telling me that the material is clear and easy to understand, so I expect high scores and good grades. If you have any last-minute questions, don't hesitate to contact Davide or myself. I'll be in the office all day tomorrow, except 10-11 a.m.

Some of you asked me about the length of the paper. Please let me remind you that 5 pages of single-spaced text are the ABSOLUTE MAXIMUM. Your paper cannot exceed this length. Even if it is a very exciting one, Davide and I will have to read a lot - we both will read every paper that you submit. Thus, if you can present the topic in a shorter format you are welcome to do so. I want to see your critical analysis of literature and be able to understand the ideas that you want to convey.
If you can do it on 3 pages instead of 5, that's fine, as long as you have a convincing story. Of course, a one-page abstract with a single reference to Wikipedia is NOT enough.

I look forward to seeing you all tomorrow at 6 p.m.

Yury
