Job opportunity in the Material Science Department of Bose Corporation (Framingham, MA) 

Responsibilities:
As a research engineer in the Materials Science Research Group, you will support analytical functions in the consulting and failure analysis area of the Center for Materials Science in Research.
Responsibilities include materials characterization and failure mode analysis, supporting product development, manufacturing and customer service, and interfacing with outside vendors and customers as necessary.

Skills:
You must be an independent worker who is comfortable working in the laboratory, has good analytical skills in thermal and chemical analysis, and handles multiple projects simultaneously.  Strong communication (oral and written), organizational, and problem solving skills are required.  Research experience with polymer and electronic materials and knowledge in thermal analysis techniques such as DSC, TGA, DMA and spectroscopy such as FTIR or Raman are desirable.

Education:
BS or MS degree in materials science and engineering or related discipline with a minimum of 1-2 years research experience.
