University of Louisville Post-Doc Opportunities

Post-doctoral opportunity: In this position, the post-doc will assemble a new version of a plasma reactor designed for gram quantity manufacturing of metal oxide nanowires. This position is for one year with possible extension to second year depending upon funding. The candidate should have relevant research experience with chemical vapor deposition reactors, thermal and plasma chemistry. In this position, the candidate will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with an industrial partner.

Post-doctoral opportunity: In this position, the post-doc will work on photoelectrochemical, surface science and electron microscopic studies of a new set of materials toward solar energy conversion. The funding for this position is available for two years. The ideal candidate should have experience with semiconductor electrochemistry and photo-electrochemistry. This candidate will have an opportunity to work collaboratively with a national laboratory.
