New Job Opportunities for Drexel Students
The Steinbright Career Development Center (SCDC) offers a new resource to help students with their job searches. The new service, Direct Apply Job Board, allows students to search for immediate employment opportunities. Direct Apply contains the following types of positions: full-time and part-time temporary and permanent, freelance, volunteer work and research positions.
The job board doesn't post positions offered for co-op students or opportunities for on-campus recruitment. Students will need to apply for those respective positions through the appropriate SCDC Online modules.
Online resumes are not required for these job listings because students will apply directly to the employer based on the employer's prescribed instructions. Students are encouraged to check weekly as jobs are being added frequently. Employers initially post jobs for 30 days and have the option to renew in 30-day increments. Currently, there are more than 200 job postings for part-time, full-time, volunteer or fellowship positions for students in a variety of majors.
Following are instructions for accessing Direct Apply Job Board
• Log in to DrexelOne at http://one.drexel.edu
• Click on the "Student" tab
• Click on "Search for Jobs" in the "Coop/Steinbright Career Development Center" Channel
• Click on "Change Current Service" and select "Direct Apply Job Board"
• Enter your search criteria and click on "Search"
• Click on the job title to view position details
Follow the directions listed in the "Application Instructions" section to apply for the position
