Full-time and an intern position at Micron Technology, Boise, ID

As a Product Engineer in the Product Yield Enhancement Group (PYE) at Micron, you will identify, define and manage yield improvement activities for DRAM and FLASH memory devices from initial release to high volume production.  Your primary responsibilities will include electrical device characterization to identify physical defects; applied statistical analysis to identify equipment, process, or test limiting device yield; data extraction  automated  reporting.   You will be expected to understand and identify potential yield and reliability issues on DRAM and NAND technologies.  You will interface with the various product groups and fabs to give feedback regarding various yield related issues.
   

Qualifications:    
Successful candidates for this position will have:

    * Experience with the use of Cadence layout and schematics.
    * An  understanding of device physics.
    * Experience with statistical analysis and micro probing.
    * CMOS process knowledge.
    * Good presentation skills.
    * Memory device bench testing experience.

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Electrical or Materials Engineering

Applicants must be enrolled full-time with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. degree in process; (students who are graduating or have graduated and not enrolled for continuing education are ineligible).
Cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher in all degree programs is preferred.
Applicants must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
A knowledge of or experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
Previous internship or on-campus work experience in related field is preferred.
