Report Guidelines etc.

As promised at today's meeting...attached are copies of (a) the Written Report guidelines and (b) the presentation schedule for Friday 12/8/06. I've also included a copy of the sheet which will be used to assess your oral presentations.

For the benefit of those who did not make it to today's meeting...

(i)  By now you should be well underway with preparing your presentations and written reports...don't leave it to the last minute!

(ii) Written reports are required only from Seniors, not from BS/MS students...the latter will only be giving oral progress reports.

(iii) We will not meet next week, but I'm available to answer Q's, critique presentations etc.

(iv) Hard copies of written reports from Seniors are due to me and your Advisor(s) by 5:00 pm on WEDNESDAY 12/6/06.

(v) Remember to print out 4 copies of "Handouts" (6 per page) of your presentation slides and bring them along on 12/8/06.

(vi) We will be using the Dept. laptop and Projector, so please come along and load and test your presentations in advance of your turn in the spotlight.

(vii) The presentations will be recorded and we will have some outside guests.

(viii) It is expected that everyone attend all the presentations...that way you get to see how your peers are doing, how they handle questions, and maybe pick up a few things that will help YOUR project.
